Coinbase, one of the largest US-based cryptocurrency exchange platforms has launched its Visa debit card into six new European countries.

As of June 11th 2019, Coinbase Visa Debit Card holders in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland and the Netherlands will be able to use their Visa cards, which syncs directly to their Coinbase accounts.

The Coinbase visa card will allow its users to spend their cryptocurrencies at any merchant that accepts Visa cards. Giving the user the option to use any cryptocurrency of their choice.

UK Coinbase CEO, Zeeshan Feroz has commented on the service explaining,

“You can buy groceries on Bitcoin (BTC) and then coffee on Litecoin (LTC) right after.”

The Visa card was first launched in April 2019 in the United Kingdom, with expansion significantly increasing since then.

Last month alone (May 2019) the service expanded their service to more than 50 countries, and adding the Dai stablecoin to its Coinbase Earn program, rewarding users with cryptocurrencies for watching education videos.

In order to start earning cryptocurrencies, the most profitable avenue is to start cryptocurrency mining. From there you can earn crypto at a daily rate, with the ability then to use your crypto just like you would a Visa Card.
