The payment solution is dubbed xRipple, and was announced at a recent conference focusing on the international monetary system, held by Swiss National Bank. Jaguar Land Rover, the British multinational automotive company is teaming up with the cryptocurrency IOTA Foundation to begin testing a smart wallet technology that will give motorists the ability to earn crypto while driving. Drivers will be able to earn crypto rewards in exchange for sharing data surrounding “useful road conditions, such as traffic congestion or potholes”. The crypto credits you earn from sending on such data to “navigation providers or local authorities” can then be used to pay for tolls, parking meters or plugging into the nearest electrical charging station, to keep the list brief. Dharma Labs, a San Francisco based cryptocurrency lending firm has launched its latest service to the public; cryptocurrency loans fulfilled via smart contracts. The announcement was made On Monday 8th April, explaining that the loans company is backed by exchange platform CoinBase. Users can now interact and use the service via any wallet. At the time being only Ethereum (ETH) and Stablecoin (DAI) are supported however, more coins are in the process of being added to the service. Japans Biggest Railway Company To Accept Crypto Payments For Travel
Japan has been dubbed the new World Headquarter for everything Bitcoin (BTC) and they are setting the standard high when it comes to cryptocurrency adoption and taking full advantage of all its benefits. At the end of March 2019, Japans Financial Services Agency (FSA) endorsed 11 different cryptocurrency exchanges, with the latest endorsement being Japans biggest railway and subway operator, the Japan Railways Group (JR Group).
