Their Story

Athol & Annis

Athol & Anniss originally felt they were helplessly headed towards a pension-reliant retirement. After just 4 years with NGS Group, they’re now on track to generate enough in their super to self-fund their retirement.

Their Key Takeaway:

[It’s given] “Hope. It’s given new meaning to when Athol retires, without being in this, his super…there was just no money in it, whereas with turning the super over. Yes, there is a future there…”

Why were you unsure or skeptical about NGS Crypto?

All the scams you never see a picture of who you’re dealing with…they’re just a name. Compared to what I’ve lost on other things, like share trading scams on the internet…because I’d been scammed that many times, I was very skeptical.

What ultimately made you decide to get involved with NGS Crypto?

Daniel Coffey is the one that got me into it originally and he’s been very supportive all the way along the line, helped me out. If I’ve got a problem, we’ll just ring him up… he was always just on the phone there when I needed him.

I can put a face to him. He was on Facebook, he linked to my Facebook. Compared to what I’ve lost on other things, like share trading scams on the internet. I thought, well, it’s only $500 US…

What specific benefits have you found?

Anniss: [It’s given] Hope. It’s given new meaning to when Athol retires, without being in this, his super…there was just no money in it, whereas with turning the super over. Yes, there is a future there. So that’s the thing that I like about it.

Athol: Well see, the major superannuation companies, you’re lucky if you get 8 or 9% on a good year, on a bad year you might 2% or nothing. Whereas this just…the superannuation companies, their dividends fluctuate with the share market. This doesn’t fluctuate as much. The minimum guarantee is at least what you’re going to get, which is more than what you’ll get for any superannuation.

The compounding effect when Bitcoin goes up is just phenomenal, as far as the returns. That $500 account that I started with, overall a part of that however, but the money it probably made over the three years, probably 400-500% compound.

Who would you recommend this for and why?

It’s really, anybody who’s got any spare cash, don’t put it in the bank, put it in to next gen. It’s the best thing you can do, because it’s as safe as the bank and it’s going to earn you. The bank will pay you what? Half a percent interest maybe, they’ll charge you more than what they pay you. With next gen your money is secure, it’s safe, it’s growing over time.

I’ve been with NGS about four years? A bit over four years.

I’ve heard about cryptocurrency just through the internet, but I didn’t know of any, how you invested in it or anything really about it. Other than it was a digital currency and that’s about all I knew.

All the scams you never see a picture of who you’re dealing with…they’re just a name. Compared to what I’ve lost on other things, like share trading scams on the internet. I thought, well, it’s $500.

..It’s only $500 US and Anniss was in Bali and I asked him if he’d go and meet with Anniss and actually show her the facilities, the setup they had, which he did. It wasn’t until after Anniss had been and seen it, that I actually joined up, because I’d been scammed that many times, I was very skeptical.

[It’s given] Hope. It’s given new meaning to when Athol retires, without being in this, his super…there was just no money in it, whereas with turning the super over. Yes, there is a future there. So that’s the thing that I like about it.

Well see, the major superannuation companies, you’re lucky if you get 8 or 9% on a good year, on a bad year you might 2% or nothing. Whereas this just…the superannuation companies, their dividends fluctuate with the share market. This doesn’t fluctuate as much. The minimum guarantee is at least what you’re going to get, which is more than what you’ll get for any superannuation.

…Because there was no guarantee it  was volatile with the market and whichever company it was with, and not found some companies…even though they’ve got big names, they’re not very good. [And] I didn’t get a lot out of that at the end of the day, they actually came to me and said, “You should cash it in, it’s not going anywhere.” I would’ve been better off just putting that $10 a week into a fixed deposit at the end of the day.

The future really, that’s the best part of this. The future for us is only in 10 years time. What are you, 30 year old? I’m 73, Athol’s…I’m 64 next week. He’s 64. I’ll still love you when you’re 64. Yeah. Remember that? No, you’re to young, you don’t remember that song. Yeah. So the future for us is very close.

The compounding effect when Bitcoin goes up is just phenomenal, as far as the returns. That $500 account that I started with, overall a part of that however, but the money it probably made over the three years, probably 400-500% compound.

Over the four years, three years, because Bitcoin took such big jumps from where I first got into it. So if Bitcoin doubled, your money doubled, straight up. That doesn’t happen with ordinary super or shares.

But I’m a firm believer that if I knew back then what I know now, even without Bitcoin, every time I got a $1000, I’d buy a $1000 worth of gold bullion and sit on it. Because it’d be better than money in the bank and the same with Bitcoin, it’s better than money in the bank.

It gives you hope…Financially, yes. If this doesn’t go the right way for us and I have no doubt that it will, we will be a lot better off for being part of it, with not being part of it. It is the future for us. Well, I think Bitcoin’s the future anyway.

For the world, really, when you think about it. I was brought up in the era where you didn’t get any education on anything at all. Right? You just went to school kind of thing, but young people of today are just so clued on to things. What I struggle with, they do it in three seconds flat. Right? Because this world that’s changing for us. Right? You’ve probably even seen changes in your lifetime and everything has to end up on a computer these days, it doesn’t really matter what it is. Whatever it is, it’s all in there. You just got to make the effort or find somebody to make the effort on your behalf. It’s the future.

And Bitcoin as an international currency, it just revolutionizes the currency market. You don’t have to go exchange your money every time you go to another country. If you’re traveling… I’ve tried to talk so people into investing in next gen and they like, “Oh, no. I’ll wait to see how you do first.” All waiting for us to either succeed or fail, before they’ll believe what we’re telling them.

Bitcoin is only going up all the time, even now. I get people saying to me, “Ah, Bitcoin has dropped.” I says, “Yeah, it may have dropped, but it’s still double what it was six months ago.” So what’s the big deal. How many people could say their money in the bank’s doubled in six months? Not very many
