Opera, a major Internet browser that can be accessed through Android has integrated its latest, cutting-edge feature boasting a built-in crypto wallet. Off the back of announcing their plans three months ago to explore and advance block chain technology, Opera has embraced this most up-to-date expertise in crypto currency with open arms.
Strong, abiding partnerships between Opera with Safello, a European crypto currency exchange and Samsung, South Koreas largest mobile phone corporation will see these companies integrate this latest technology.
CEO of Safello, Frank Schuil said,
“WITH SAFELLO BROKERAGE ON THE OPERA MOBILE BROWSER FOR ANDROID, BOTH NEW AND EXPERIENCED USERS CAN NOW EASILY TRANSACT CRYPTO CURRENCIES IN THE MOST SECURE AND FASTEST WAY POSSIBLE. THE FUNCTIONALITY TO PURCHASE CRYPTO IS RIGHT AT THEIR FINGERTIPS”.
This new adoption has been sparked after the demand for more user- friendly solutions. Users now have the ability to seamlessly make online payments using crypto currencies through supporting merchants, send money from wallet to wallet in under sixty seconds, the ability to detect and view any NFT’s held and buy crypto currencies directly within your web browser. This will make it far more practical for all mainstream users and increase the digital asset network on a global scale
“We think that the next important phase for crypto will come from usage and that for it to reach a wider adoption, it has to be easy to buy and easy to use,”
Charles Hamel, Product Leader for Crypto at Opera stated.
We can expect to see bigger and better advancements in the future and not if, but when Opera adds to their crypto currency related features and Samsung Pay continues advancing its crypto currency wallet we can expect to see a wider adoption of crypto usage. Currently Samsung Pay has 10 million active users and Opera with 182 million active users. With these advancements currently set in place this will certainly lead many more users previously reluctant in utilising crypto currencies to adopt this latest technology.
